It was a recommendation by our host and it did not disappoint at all! What a beautiful cute little Osteria with amazing food! The chef herself came out to ask how the food it and it was really good! The homemade pasta with tomatoe sauce - wow! A simple dish but so flavorful and amazing!

A magical place. The location and setting are beautiful, eating open air in an old, small town square in Monacizzo. The pastas are all homemade, clearly with love and care. The flavors were simple and totally delicious. House wine was refreshing. The hospitality was gracious and the reception was friendly. A delightful and memorable experience.

Positively impressive the food quality and the hospitality. This restaurant is located in the middle of Monacizzo village and offers dishes prepared with autochthonous and genuine ingredients. Strongly suggested the hand made pasta with Monacizzo onions.
This osteria is a master class in fine Italian cuisine. The food is beautifully inventive, authentic and inviting and incredibly unique, and the family that runs it brings such a warmth. I’d give it a hundred stars if I could, and will visit just as many times in the future.

My family and I ate here al fresco and it was a wonderful experience. The food is delicious and everything was fresh and tasty. The service and hostess were fantastic. The piazza is beautiful but park outside of it because it is reserved for residents and you will get a ticket.

We couldn't find a place for dinner in this area and we ended up in this peculiar osteria which was a great experience and surprise. Margherita and Giuseppe welcomed us in the best way. Pasta cipolle & olive was amazing, better than in some starred restaurant.

I live close by and Osteria is my second home. Mrs. Margherita, a great cook, makes her own pasta. I love fava beans pure with chicory, fried calamari and meat rolls. The place is just lovely with the fire place in winter and the outdoor terrace in this Meddleages little village is pleasant in summer.
Local family restaurant located in nice area. Huge advantage there are open everyday from approx.1 p.m. Food was a bit salty but still good.
Without a doubt, the best restaurant in the area!
